10 Marado - New Beer Named After Maradona

Bottles of the soon to be sold “10 Marado” beer, sit at the “Cerveceria Revolucion” brewery in Guadalajara, Mexico Monday, Oct. 26, 2009. The beer, named after Argentina’s soccer legend Diego Armando Maradona, is part of the brewery’s market strategy to name beers honoring sports icons and other celebrities. The company plans to send a letter to the soccer star explaining the project in hopes of selling the beer in Argentina.

    I smell a lawsuit coming on for these guys. A “letter” after they’ve bottled and brewed it?

    And selling it in Argentina? Maybe before he was their coach…
