LA Galaxy v Chivas USA
Filed under: Chivas USA, LA Galaxy, MLS PlayoffsMLS playoffs, LA edition, take one. I headed down to the Home Depot Center to watch the first leg of the LA Galaxy v Chivas USA playoff series. I’m pretty sure that by now every single one of you knows the result, who scored, how this sets up the second leg on Sunday and so on. And I’m just as sure that you don’t want to read my recap of the game, we’ll leave that to the guys that are supposed to be doing that. However, hit the jump to see some images from the game. Next Sunday is going to be reeeaaallll interesting…
I always wonder things like whose job is it to inflate and deflate giant balloons like this, aaaannndd, how do you get that gig? I gotta look into that.
These little dudes took the free promotional blow up bats and put them to good use trying to beat the ish out of each other. It was like two little matadors in a duel. They were having as much fun as anyone I saw in the stadium.
I wanted to chat with this dude. He was in full support mode, and I’m pretty sure that his story is very interesting. Really dope seeing the vast scope of supporters that came out for the game. The stories of individual fans makes the game that much more interesting. Maybe one day we can chat…
A picnic with your homies under the walkway at a soccer game. The simple things in life are most often times the best, and these dudes fully captured that.
Self explanatory…
Shadow boxing
Wall of Legends featuring Mauricio Cienfuegos, Doug Hamilton and Cobi Jones
In the press box they bring you sheets full of stats and information that the press might find useful for the game. Prior to kick off you get the team sheets delivered.
See you again next Sunday…

Today was a fun game. I think I saw you when you were snapping the pic of the giant balloon. I was sporting the new white eye chart shirt.
