I just moved to Redondo Beach a few weeks ago for a job from Salt Lake and have been dying to go see a game. I’m a die hard RSL fan but I will make an exception here and go watch the Galaxy take care of Chivas. I have my GF from Utah coming down this weekend and free tickets would be the perfect excuse so that I don’t have to go to Disneyland with her on Sunday. She can look at LD and Becks and I can enjoy the match wearing my BP gear and enjoying a beer while she babbles about how “Hot” Beckham is.
My wife and daughter were both born yesterday and have yet to experience the thrill of any soccer match. If they were to attend this one it would make my life much easier seeing as how they might be able to grasp my love for the sport and maybe I might just be able to follow the sport like I did when I was a bachelor. I love you in advance for choosing my family and I.
While all the other reasons are awesome,I just love the galaxy and hate the Chivas,so please pick me.

First off — Thanks to The Original Winger and L.A. Galaxy for this opportunity. If I were choosen, I would have no choice but to take my life long friend who is from Serbia but is here in Orange County for a few weeks. He has not seen a live MLS game and constantly jokes about the quality of the MLS compared to European football. If I were to take him to one of the biggest darby matches in the history of our league, I am sure it would impress and change his mind about U.S. teams, and hopefully send him back to Europe talking about how great the fans and the football are in the MLS.

My brother of course. We live, eat, and sleep soccer. Honestly, we would both go nuts without the Fox Soccer Channel(FSC). We have played soccer since 1984 and now are kids play soccer. Plus, I played soccer with Landon back in the high school days and my brother played college ball with Brian Dunseth, so it’s like the full circle of life, but for soccer. Basically we are big fans of the game and of course TOW & Bumpy Pitch.
I would take Korey Donahoo, president of the American Outlaws. Korey is a friend of mine, and as AO president, is always looking at MLS supporters clubs for ideas on how to grow AO and unite and strengthen all US Soccer Supporters. By allowing us to attend this game, we would team up with the local American Outlaws LA chapter and throw a sick pre match tailgate for all fans, Galaxy AND Chivas! It would also allow us to spread our message of passion and support of the USMNT to new fans, growing our ranks till the USA has a home field advantage in every game we play.
Simply put, by picking us you will have a direct impact on the future on soccer in this country. Needless to say, when you pick us, we will rep TOW_BP till we die. Help grow US Soccer Supporters, and help grow your own brand! Its a win win!
i would love the tickets so i could take my die hard soccer fan uncle, who for the last year had lost his vision and damn near will to live due to the side effects of his rheumatory arthritis medication. Now that he has gotten the vision back we can go to soccer games togther again, and this would be an epic first-game-in-a-year to attend.

I would take my little brother to the game because right now he’s kind of struggling in his youth team and is thinking about quitting and I want to give him something to look forward to in the future. See the Galaxy players will make him full of joy and hope that he can one day potentially get there.

I would take my dad to the soccer game because he hasnt gotten a day off in like a couple of months and this would the perfect surprise for him.
I was at the game yesterday and it was one of the best Derbys ever. I would take the same 3 friends that were with me yesterday to round out the experience.And to be there when CHIVAS USA finishes off the Galaxy. Chivas obviously the best team on the pitch. Oi!

pick me. i’m taking my 10 month old son, Jacob, whose brainwashing needs to be taken to the next level given that he has never had the privilege of seeing the LA Galaxy in the playoffs. it would also be of benefit for him to grow to dislike anything goats related. he loves wearing his 12 month g’s jersey. pick me!
If my dad is visiting (from Texas) this weekend, I’d take him. We had a good 6 year run of season tickets in New England. If he’s not here, I’d take a friend who’s here from North Carolina. She loves soccer but has never been to a “real” game.

I actually would be a good wifey and give them to my husband and his brother and I would stay home with our 14 month future soccer player. Here is how I win…. my husband is great in bed after any soccer game.
So, after buying my tickets in advance I arrived at the Stadium yesterday around one hour early. I went to will call with my wife and after waiting in line found out that I had to go to the other line, Chivas will call line. When I arrived at the right line, it went around a circle and looked to be a half a mile long.
Anyway, we barely made it inside and my wife stated, I am never going with you to another game.
Well, if I win tickets, I think she will come with me to the game.
I just want to witness how the GALAXY beats them Chicas usa (is not a typo) just like they did at the Honda super clasico…. I would probably take my hot co-worker, she wants to see becks in action (of course).

I would love for the Galaxy to take the game on Sunday because there is 1 TEAM IN L.A.!!!! and the G’s deserve to march all the way to the MLS cup due to their fine performance fine performance this season. I’d take my brother, a classic Eurosnob who refuses to acknowledge the rising quality of play in MLS and continued growth of the league. His biggest complaint about MLS is “nobody even cares.” Well, I care and I know there are tens of thousands others who do, including the packed house that will be at the HDC on Sunday. What better way to show him the passion and excitement of MLS than the SuperClasico in the playoffs! MLS is here, MLS is growing and MLS will be here for good. It’s time to show soccer fans, like my brother Jake, just what they are missing!

Wow, what a great opportunity! As a single father, I would love to take my almost 5 yr old boy. He started U-5 herdball this year and loves the game! In fact, he can even name Galaxy players with a little prompting. In short this would be a great bonding experience for a father and son trip with memories to share. -I’ve never been to a LA Galaxy game and I would sure love to see David Beckham and Landon Donovan play. That would be a dream come true. I’d probably take my dad or older brother. The Galaxy are going to win! This has been their miracle season and deserve to be in playoffs after all the hard work they have done this year as compared to last season. This is their year to take the championship. Bruce Arena should be coach of the year after what he has done to this team.
I would take my dad to the game because he is just as obsessed with soccer as I am but unfortunately he does not always have the money to go. We have been a fan for many, many years!

If still available, I would take a young player that I’ve been personally coaching to help her in her transition to Club soccer in Cal South.
When her mother asked if I would be interested in coaching her, the first thing I did was talk to little Julian, aka JuJu and asked her, why she wanted extra coaching in soccer?
Her simple response was, “Because I want to be a universal player.”
I immediately lit up and smiled because those words are music to my ears. Not only does she love the game, but she loves to learn and wants to take herself to the next level.
In the 2 months we’ve been working (once a week for about 2 hours) she has made tremendous strides with her first touch, her running with and without the ball, and just last week, started blasting some shots and curling those shots!
Her body language has dramatically changed as well — you can just see her confidence growing each week. She has also seen her hard work pay off with her club team, as her coach already has moved her out of defense and in to central midfield a few times, due to the improvement in her game.
I’m very proud of her because she doesn’t come from a traditional soccer family — none of her parents or brothers and sisters played, so she is really on her own and I feel that getting another “helping hand” from the soccer community will help galvanize her connection to the sport, the community and continue to motivate her to use soccer as a vehicle for not only education, but for life itself.

I would take my 2 sons, daughter, and wife. We are some of the loudest and most loyal fans of the Galaxy you have ever seen. We love all the players, but are especially found of Donovan Ricketts and the back defensive line which are going to post yet another shut out as the Galaxy moves into the next round with a win.

I live in SLC, and if I won would purchase airline tickets for me and my wife to fly to the game so that we can watch Becks and Mandon trash Chivas. As an RSL fan, I love to watch Chivas lose. My wife, while she watches all RSL games with me, does love her some Beckham. She even has his jersey!
Also, Dunny, you may recall, in your RSL years, my wife yelling “Hottie-bo-body” for you every game. She also was the one that asked for your autograph on her RSL hat when you were in SLC with the Galaxy. We still have that hat, which has not been worn since. We keep it with our other RSL treasures on display.
I think that Meagan York may be married to Ryan York! And its actually Ryan posting bc that “great in bed after soccer games” shtick.
Anyway, if I can’t win, Ryan or “Meagan” surely needs to win bc that is some funny ishhh.
I would take the person who took me to my first Galaxy game 6 years ago. He is also my best friend who has sadly moved away since. We always talk about soccer and we both love it more than anything. He hasn’t been to a game since that day but I have been going consistently for the past 4 years. I recently lost my job and haven’t been able to go as much as I like, and now that they’re in the playoffs for the first time in 3 years my urge to go is even greater. Greg, my best friend, will be in town this weekend for a friend’s wedding on Saturday. It’s the first time we’ll see each other in a little over 2 years. Tickets to Sunday’s game would make both mine and Greg’s years!!!
I would take my brother to the match on Sunday. I would ask my brother to come with me because we had a falling out about 2 years ago and haven’t spoken since. Me and my brother are both diehard LA Galaxy supporters since 96′ Rosebowl and beyond. We live half the year in San Diego and half the year in Los Angeles, during the SD months, every weekend my brother and I would drive up to Pasadena to cheer on Hurtado, Cienfuegos, Cobi, Welton, Karapatean, Calichman, Arash, Frasier and the rest of the originals. All those memories I built along side my brother and for the past 2 years we haven’t been able to share our joy for our beloved Galaxy like we used to, so I would bring my brother because I know he’s just as much of an LA Galaxy faithful as I am. I for one, made a single request to my family in case I should have an early death, that I am to be buried in a Galaxy kit and scarf (whichever kit the club is wearing the year of my death), also a secondary request if money allows it I want to buried in the closest cemetary to the HDC.
Anyway, I would take my brother this Sunday to the match and once again share our supporters faith and loyalty to our club and our brotherhood.

GALAXY!!!! I’ve been trying to take my girlfriend to a galaxy game this season and have not had the chance. i would love to show her how exciting it is to watch a galaxy game live at the HDC. She’s never been to a soccer game and i am certain she will love it and become a Galaxy fan.
I would take my father, I took him to the first Galaxy game back in 1996 at the Rose Bowl and we have been fans ever since, you change jobs, spouses even religion but never your team, we deserve to win the cup this year.

I would love to take my boyfriend, Justin to the Galaxy game. Why? Only because he really deserves it and Galaxy is his all time favorite team. He is a very hard working individual but is never recognized for his accomplishments. I believe this would be a great opportunity for him to realize that he deserves something great for once in his life.
