I was baffled by the fact that after all of this… she wasn’t red carded… I mean was the ref that blind? Did he not hear reactions from the crowd and wonder what that was about?

i think that this behavior is unacceptable. it should’ve been a straight red for the girl. also the ncaa should look into suspensions. if this was done in the professional leagues in europe (where the best footballers in the world play), the player would face a suspension of no less than 3 games.
in college ball, i think this action brings the sport into disrepute and is punishable by a lengthy suspension. from a school perspective, this clearly breaches the honor code (assuming the school has one) and the girl should be kicked out of the school, have her scholarship revoked or dismissed from the team.
it is highly unsportsmanlike and she appeared to take joy in this. that’s the behavior of a sociopath.

additionally i think the girl who got yanked can file civil charges on the girl. caused her plenty of pain and embarrassment is what i imagine her attorneys will say.
