An earlier yellow card on Lambert might have prevented a lot of this. Failing that, a red card could and should have been issued. I don't know if Carlee Payne "started all of it," as Scott has suggested, but whether or not she did, it appeared from the videos that she and one or two other BYU players could have earned a mention in the referee's book. But nothing will happen because Carlee is BYU's best player. It looks like Carlee started all of it!! I think Carlee should have been banned for the MWC Finals for a total elbow. I saw Payne play in her final HS Soccer Game (i think scored a hattrick and still lost) and was so impressed, but now I think she's a joke as well.
