Welcome to Houston Texas!
Sunday afternoon was Game 2 in the MLS Playoffs between the Seattle Sounders and the Houston Dynamo. Robertson Stadium had a real party atmosphere, and the overall attitude was great - as exemplified by this Dynamo Dancer.
Drew Carey made the rounds before the game and said hello to several Dynamo supporters. He was very friendly and everyone came away loving the guy. Thanks brother!
This is the scene that greeted me upon meeting Tim at the tailgate. How do you say “no” to this?
A challenge was issued. It was accepted. Reputation was gained.
The next generation seemed to know this was a huge game and they heartily accepted their new responsibilities.
Orange Chucks.
A full stadium, with storm clouds overhead.
The Texian Army was in full voice at kickoff, unfurling the rare “Angel of Death” banner.
El Batallon unveiled “Dynamo Chucky”.
Orange “Michael Myers” was rocking.
El Batallon in full glory deep in the second half.
At the final whistle, Seattle’s travelling supporters stood and cheered their boys. Classy.
The Dynamo walked away with the win, and looked ready for the LA Galaxy.
