Adidas showed off several of their new World Cup kits this morning in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
The qualifiers are concluding, the 2010 tv commercials have begun, and now the new kits are starting to be released. Slowly you can begin to feel the soccer universe tilt towards South Africa.

The Kaiser cooly surveyed the scene.
These Argentine duds shown a few days ago strongly echo the 1986 winning kits.

Guardado and Palencia show off Mexico’s new designs.

Style = zero poionts. World Cup right around the corner = ten points. Can’t wait for Nike to release kits – has to be better than these.
11 green power rangers running around for Mexico!
yeah, these are very poor.
wow, absolutely terrible…. can’t wait for Nike, too
… should be MUCH better.
i kinda like germany’s…
weird coming from a jew like myself but i like the germans’ jersey in this instance…
cant wait for nike and the usa kit… lets hope it doesnt disappoint… puma usually does some interesting stuff for their african countries too
I don’t mind them, except for Mexico. Those are more hideous than usual. I don’t understand why adidas is starting to break up the three stripes on the sleeves. It weakens the design.
Mexico’s look friggin weird
argentina – good (why mess with tradition)
germany – clean and smart looking
mexico – wtf is that pattern. very lame. wtf is with palencia’s sleeves?
sneak peaks of the USA kit looks awful.. some grey sash on a relativily boring kit.. hopeuflly they look better in person.
perfik – well do share
If there were a like feature, I’d like baldguy’s comments. Hardcore 80s and boring. Mexico’s look to be made of just a sheet of polyester. Germany’s looks like before the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Nike jerseys should be available in the spring. Atleast thats what I was told. I’ve seen some of the t-shirts and jackets that are coming out and they look good. The Nike rep I was talking says she hasn’t even seen them yet.
I am not a fan of the skin-tight look. These are shirts, not base layers! Once again, Adidas fails to deliver. Mexico’s is the worst – it looks they are sweating blood.
Puma kits in the Eurosport magazine look pretty cool…
And soccer.com has a cool “revealing this week” feature that hopefully gets updated…
Why dont you sponsor Botswana with kits (Zebras), The country football supporters like adidas a lot.
i think they great… they include the adidas powere web in the them. It’s just not shown in these photos!
