We’ve been a little light on the posts the last few days as the BP_TOW crew has been holding it down in Jet City. We had the chance to catch up with a lot of friends, party with the rest of the DP’s and soak up the city and the sport for an extended weekend. Seattle did themselves proud and showcased just where soccer is headed in this country. Congrats to Real Salt Lake on their monumental win. Hit the jump for some pics from the weekend.

These folks were a little wary to have their picture taken at first, but that changed pretty quickly and they ended up being happy with the result. They were also very proud of their sign.

We got to link up with the infamous Prairie Rose at Kells on Friday night and then we saw a couple banners she put together at the Supporters Summit. Good people!

The dude that ran this hot dog stand outside Qwest Field was adamant that they have the best hot dogs in town.

Dunny and I headed down to the Supporters Summit on Saturday where the Columbus Crew was presented with the 2009 Supporters Shield. We ended up walking back to the hotel with Francisco who came out on behalf of the Crew to scoop the trophy.

The atmosphere at Qwest Field was incredible. I talked to a few folks that night about how this sort of atmosphere, with the type of crowd and supporters that was present was what many of us American soccer fans have been waiting for.

Galaxy, RSL and Seattle Sounders supporters all in full voice. Even a dude with an old school Seattle Sonics jersey was singing his heart out.

There was a lot more from the weekend that didn’t get documented. Lots of events, catching up with old friends, meeting some new ones, and generally taking in all that Seattle had to offer. For those of you that we got to hang out with, it was epic. For those of you that we didn’t, let’s definitely do this again soon!
