Nike and Red have announced a partnership, (Nike) Red where proceeds from the products released will go to combat HIV/AIDS in Africa. The partnership was announced at NikeTown in London at a press conference featuring Bono, Susan Ellis of Red, Didier Drogba and Nike CEO Mark Parker. Several Nike soccer players were also in attendance.The first product to be released is these red laces with more product dropping over the coming months. Lots more pictures and info to come over the next couple of days.
The laces will drop December 1st (World AIDS Day) at Nike stores.

The solution to AIDS in Africa is policy driven not donation driven, I am glad it makes Nike feel better about themselves though!
