The 2010 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival will take place on April 16-18, the promoters announced today (Dec. 14). The event will once again take place at Empire Polo Field in Indio, Calif.

While the lineup won’t be officially revealed until early next year, bands like Muse, Pavement, Hot Chip and DEVO are widely expected to be among the more than 150 acts to perform. Pre-sale tickets go on sale today, with a layaway plan available. The festival is expanding its camping options as well, including car, RV and traditional tent camping.
