This is a short documentary for the ESPN Espy awards on the true story behind the 1995 Rugby World Cup in South Africa, which was the basis for the book “Playing the Enemy” by John Carlin and the current film “Invictus” starring Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon.  In 1995, the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage was presented to South Africa’s Nelson Mandela, and his work to unite his country through love of sport.
