“There was never a soccer field close to my house growing up in Wisconsin so I always practiced goalie in the backyard between a tree and a utility box which ws, shockingly, about the same size as a regulation goal. My dad used to shoot on me, but when my sister was old enough to start playing soccer we always trained together. I’m now 27 and live in Texas and she’s a freshman in college, but we still play soccer in the backyard  every time we see each other. Snow filled holidays are no exception.”
