The United States will train for the World Cup in South Africa at Pilditch Stadium in Pretoria, the same base it used during last year’s successful run at the Confederations Cup (clip of the US practicing at Pilditch Stadium above).

The U.S. Soccer Federation made the announcement Monday after the governing body of Italian soccer announced the Azzurri will train at Southdowns College in Irene. The U.S. team will be staying nearby at the Irene Country Lodge.
