Just when you thought he’d have more important issues to worry about, FIFA President Sepp Blatter decided to weigh in on the John Terry / Wayne Bridge affair. Classy Sepp….
Via Guardian
Blatter, in Vancouver for the International Olympic Committee’s session, described the response and reaction to Terry as being particularly “Anglo-Saxon” and claimed that in countries such as France, Italy and Spain, it would not be considered a problem.
“Listen, this is a special approach in the Anglo-Saxon countries,” he said. “If this had happened in let’s say Latin countries then I think he would have been applauded.”

uhhhh….yeah i think that response will go over pretty well……
Blatter you old fart, shut your trap
This is from the guy who said women football players would be more interesting if they wore shorter shorts….He is a travesty to the game, and should be removed.
Whoa, lets not be too hasty young Greg, the man does have a point!
