MLS and Players agree on new 5-year CBA

mlsnet.com is reporting that Major League Soccer and its players have agreed on a five-year contract that will avoid a strike scheduled for next week. Today they called a joint news conference for Saturday and you can listen to it live here on their site.

“We were far apart, and the last couple of weeks we worked hard to not just get closer together but reach resolution. That’s what happens in these kinds of situations.” – Commissioner Don Garber
