‘“Our goal in the short term is to be a fully integrated soccer program and to compete for the USL Pro championship in our first season. In the medium term, we hope to use our combined expertise to bring a Major League Soccer franchise to Orlando,” said Phil Rawlins, majority owner of the Orlando franchise.

The team is set to play at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium, located just outside downtown Orlando.

The team already is accepting deposits for season tickets through its website, www.orlandocitysoccer.com.'”
