The good folks at Tottenham Hotspur sent over this video ahead of their trip to the United States, and specifically ahead of their game against Red Bull New York. The video features Brad Friedel and Jermaine Defoe talking about Thierry Henry, the legend that he is and what it has meant for MLS to have him in the league. Gareth Bale talks about the last time these two teams played in New York and how it was the hottest conditions he has ever played in. Finally Younes Kaboul chimes in about how much he is looking for to playing against Henry as well. Good stuff from Spurs. I’m looking forward to them playing here this summer.
Side note – the first game I ever went to see in England was Spurs against Man City at White Hart Lane. I was 16 years old and it was of the things that I will always remember in my life. Me and my pops taking in my first EPL game was definitely one of those moments you just don’t forget about.
