The Guardian is reporting that World Cup winning Brazilian manager Luiz Felipe Scolari is set to be re-appointed the coach of Brazil, who host the 2014 World Cup, on Thursday, a source close to the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) said on Wednesday.
Scolari, who led Brazil to their last World Cup in 2002 and was favorite for the job, will replace Mano Menezes who was sacked last Friday. The CBF president, José Maria Marin, confirmed he had chosen a new coach but declined to give a name.
