The Original Ronaldo To Intern at Ad Agency

Filed under: Brazil, Business, Culture & Lifestyle, Ronaldo

With the eyes of the world about to be on Brazil for both the Olympics and World Cup, the Original Ronaldo preparing himself by interning at an ad agency in London. According to Ronaldo:

“Eighteen years have passed and I’ve hardly studied at all; I feel a great need to become a student again,” Ronaldo told Brazil‘s Meio & Mensagem newspaper. “I’ve learned a lot in life, travelling, living abroad, just in the school of life. But I also have to immerse myself in something.

“Learning from Martin Sorrell will be perfect. I won’t leave him alone, I’ll be asking him questions the whole day, just like a striker. He’s going to have to tell me everything.”

I’m a big fan of what is going on here. It reminds me a little of when Kanye went to intern at Fendi. These guys don’t have to do this sort of thing, but a desire to educate themselves further means they seek opportunities that not everyone would do. Would you intern at 30 something years old if you were as rich, successful and famous as Ronaldo is? I don’t know that the avergae person would. But then again, there has never been anything average about Ronaldo.
