The Original Winger is finally fully optimized for mobile!!! We want to send big shouts out to our digital big brother COMPLEX MEDIA for working with us to get this thing sorted out. We want to thank our guy Ace on the technical side for making this happen as well. For a long time when you went to look at TOW from your phone or tablet or whatever, I’m going to be honest, it kind of sucked. I was as frustrated as anyone…
It wasn’t anyones fault really, we just didn’t have the mobile platform yet, and you would have to load the full site. Over the last few months, Complex and Ace had been testing out the right mobile platform for us, and you now see the result. Lightning quick, beautiful images, post excerpts, and all the things that you get from the full TOW site but just on a mobile. You can also comment on posts directly from your phone, which shares it on your Facebook if connected.
Its kind of a really good look and we are excited about it … do us a favor and add it to your home page on your mobile device if you can.
* Its not an app, just a mobile site * so what you do is hit up www.theoriginalwinger.com via your browser, click on the arrow button at the bottom of the screen and then, “ADD TO HOME PAGE” …. well, at least on an iPhone.
There are still some glitches that are being worked out, but we are happy with what is up there now and will continue to effort making it better. Feel free, as always, to hit us up and let us know how you feel about it.
* We are aware of the iPhone / flash player issue, but that is something that is beyond programming. Thats an Apple v. Adobe issue.

When you are at the home page, click on any of the posts and it will take you right to that story….
When you finished reading that story, you have some choices… you can either click the drop-down menu in the top right corner and get to either the websites main menu or the websites category menu that you see in the bottom two images…
….or you can always click on the TOW Logo in the top left corner and get back to the home page.
* Yes, I just noticed that I screen capped an image of some f*d up spelling of ‘goes’ … but we keep it all the way real around here… I’ll change the images out later. Its taken me like 45 minutes and 5 drafts to do this post and I just noticed that! I did change the main post though.
From clicking the drop down in the top left corner, you can do the main menu thing, check out the categories that we have that might tickle your fancy (fanny), or hit up individual tags….
… never got which one it is, is it tickle your fancy or tickle your fanny?
There are a few other things that you can do pretty easily on the mobile site, like searching the entire site, or registering for feeds and things of that nature, but we’ll let you jump around and see how it works for you….
we’re still learning some things about it too. But just from this so far, it sure is sexy, aint it!
