So this one is a little odd, but here we go…

A Japanese toilet maker and a sports lottery organization have collaborated on a toilet bowl that is able to block penalty kicks. They have called this the Super Great Toilet Keeper and it can allegedly block shots of up to 100mph. Here’s how:

“SGTK analyzes and predicts the final destination of the ball in under 0.1 second with the help of two high-speed cameras placed on the goal posts. It then adjusts its position and thrusts a ball out of the toilet bowl, to deflect the soccer ball being shot at it.”

The SGTK will not be manufactured nor will it be sold and I don’t really have any idea on why they built this thing in the first place. But they did. and they made a video of the toilet bowl shooting out balls and blocking penalty kicks. And that video happens to be after the jump. So go ahead and watch that. After that, go ahead and cross that off your list of things that you never thought you would see in your life.
