U.S. MIDFIELDER JERMAINE JONES SIDELINED WITH ANKLE INJURY

US Soccer announced today that midfielder Jermaine Jones has been ruled out of Tuesday’s FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mexico after suffering a sprained left ankle in the USA’s 2-1 win against Costa Rica on March 22 in Commerce City, Colo. He did not travel with the team to Mexico, and no replacement will be added to the 23-man roster. The injury happened in the first half required two stitches.
