I’m sure you have noticed the incredible support that is happening all over the country.
From Nike’s 6th & Mill here in Los Angeles that we’ve been hitting pretty hard, to Ashliegh Ignelzi and Columbus Crew holding it down in Ohio, the incredible folks in KC and what happening in Power and Light. From what the LA Galaxy are doing and the events down by the pier – DC United having viewings. RSL doing their thing in SLC, to everyone else putting it on.
The support has been incredible. But what is happening in Chicago is something different. They were already getting 20k or so people jammed into Grant Park for viewings but its going to go to a whole new level tomorrow for the USvBel game.

U.S. Soccer will host a World Cup Viewing Party at Soldier Field for the U.S. Men’s National Team match against Belgium on Tuesday, July 1. The Round of 16 match will kick off at 3 p.m. CT.
The viewing party will feature ESPN’s live feed of the match displayed on the north end zone video board. Fans will have access to watch the game on the field and in the stands.
Stadium gates open at 1:30 p.m. and admission to the stadium is free. Regular Soldier Field parking rates apply.
* This is Soldier Field
* I repeat, that is Soldier Field. Soldier Field’s maximum capacity is 61.5k.
I mean, they might not fill that place to capacity, but I am just imagine that for a moment. And then imagine the fact that they have to move from the biggest park in the city, to a pro football stadium. At this point, we might have to retire the term World Cup fever and replace it with World Cup Full Blownies, because whatever it is, US Americans have it!
Think about what it will be like after we win.
