BMO Field has added 8400 seats, more concessions & washrooms, plus more..
Tim Leiweke, President and CEO of MLSE shares his thoughts on how the new renovations of BMO Field will reflect the city of Toronto and the Toronto FC.
On Sunday, Toronto FC will be hosting Houston Dynamo and welcoming them to their new MLS home, an updated BMO Field, which is in the midst of a massive, $120 million two-year renovation, with phase one of construction is almost complete.
After playing their first seven games of the 2015 season on the road Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment president and CEO Tim Leiweke, welcomed everyone to see that the stadium would be completed, for the most part, by the time they take the field Sunday against the Houston Dynamo.
Michael Bradley speaks with the media regarding the renovations of BMO Field, and the excitement for Sunday.
Some of the new features include what looks like a Budweiser beer garden. Close to the Toronto FC locker room, The Tunnel Club provides an unique experience, unmatched across MLS to watch the player’s take the pitch.
There is the East Club which provides all-inclusive “Chef’s Table” food stations with premium amenities.
Two cool spots, the Director’s Lounge West and Director’s Lounge East will give you access to a private suite behind your field side seats with all-inclusive food stations.
More suites, more loge boxes, more fine options and a ton more. Go to the dedicated “New BMO” section of their website for all the info.
I do have one question though….. If Drake is so Toronto, and we know that he has really strong ties to MLSE and all things Toronto sports, will he be opening the next edition of his private lounge at the new BMO….
