Everton Unveil Third Kit For 2016-16 Season

I am a long time fan of teams offering up a third kit. They are almost always non traditional and they typically push the boundaries of what we expect of specific clubs. They also tend to change pretty dramatically from year to year, so they have the potential to be somewhat of a collectors item as most likely you won’t see that particular style kit again.
All of that seems to be going on here with the new Everton third kit for the 2015-16 season. First of all, the jersey is green. According to the Everton website, the club has never worn a green jersey. So on GP that makes this a very interesting jersey. First of it’s kind almost makes it worth copping on that fact alone. The green jersey is accented with the Chang logo and Everton crest in a contrasting orange. Green and orange aren’t exactly the first two colors that come to mind when thinking about design, and maybe that’s what will make this jersey so unique. The look is finished off with black shorts (interesting choice here) and green and black socks. The third kit will make it’s debut on August 15 when on Southampton.
