Michail Antonio Returns to School

Take a trip down memory lane with West ham midfielder Michail Antonio as he revisits his old school to catch up with his former teachers and help inspire the next generation of sports stars.

Always love seeing big time athletes and celebrities going back to their schools and showing all the youngins that they aren’t just someone who has their pictures on the walls and halls of the academy.

It really means something to see someone who was basically once the child that you were, in the flesh, showing you all that can be achieved. And, you can tell from the looks on the kids faces how much it means to them!

Southfields Academy is a secondary school and sixth form with academy status in Southfields, south west London. It has about 1300 students. The school enrolls students from over 80 nations and they’ve had some pretty notable alumns:

Alan Pardew, current Crystal Palace F.C. manager, Magnus Okuonghae, plays for Luton Town F.C., Gavin Holligan, played for West Ham United F.C., Matthew Briggs, plays for Colchester United F.C., Elvis Hammond, plays for Kingstonian F.C., Shek Tarawallie, Fashion Designer, Michail Antonio, plays for West Ham United F.C., and Political Peak, a UK Grime artist.
