On Wednesday May 15, Makr Shakr – a new robotic bartending system designed by researchers at the MIT Senseable City Lab – was unveiled at Google I/O in San Francisco. The new mixology system allows users to create in real-time personalized cocktail recipes through a smart phone application and transform them into crowd-sourced drink combinations.
* I have a saying in life, and it basically is, “You see, THAT is why some guys deserve to be billionaires!” … Its not always about coming up with something that will absolutely revolutionize the world, its not about reinventing the wheel, sometimes its not even about being that clever… some of the richest people ever just found a need, and filled it. Now, a robot bartender probably wasn’t anywhere need the top of the list of things we need to be fixed in life but dig on this… isnt science, on this level all about generating big ideas and then finding a way to bring it to the level of the common man and making his life easier? Like that is part of the reason for NASA and spending trillions of dollars on space exploration because the hope is that we will find solutions somewhere else, that we can apply to every day.

Nike x Galatasaray Home Jersey

For the last game of one of the most successful seasons in the club’s history, Galatasaray players will take to the pitch wearing a new home Nike kit that merges the club’s heritage and state-of-the-art technology.
Nike has created the ultimate half-and-half home kit for Galatasaray. The body and sleeves are in the traditional design of red and yellow halves, but for the first time the cuffs and the crew neck collar are also divided equally in these distinctive Galatasaray colors.
The new Galatasaray kit is inspired by similar designs worn in the 1950s and 1960s by Metin Oktay, one of the club’s greatest players hailed by fans as the “uncrowned king.” The kit also reflects the club’s status as the charismatic avant-gardes of European football, who seek to be both stylish and innovative on and off the pitch.
Inside the neck of the shirt is a woven red label featuring a club symbol representing Galatasaray’s entire sporting club beyond just football. The new home shorts are white with a thin yellow stripe along the side. The socks are red with a thin yellow band at the top and on the back is a yellow block to give the players greater visual acuity on the pitch.

MLS Legends :: LA Galaxy Midfielder Mauricio Cienfuegos

~~ I still remember the first day I saw Mauricio Cienfuegos in an LA Galaxy uniform… San Diego, pre-season games before the start of the inaugural MLS season in 1996 and here was this little dude just running shop in the midfield.
Not a single player could get the ball off him and the simplicity in which he played the game was mesmerizing.
A couple of years later I would get to know him on a personal level, play with and against him over the early years in MLS and to this day I smile, laugh and joke around with him when I see him. ‘Dunseth!’
I can still remember where I was when watching Cien get crushed in a tackle at the Rose Bowl on Univision, get carted off the field and when the sideline camera was standing over him, he jumps up, pulls his shin guards down, points to his shin and yells ‘These BUTCHERS!!!’
Just a damn good dude.
