The Premier League has decided to introduce “Vanishing Spray” for use in all matches in the 2014/15 Barclays Premier League season.
Premier League Chief Executive, Richard Scudamore, said: “At the Premier League we are open to developments that enhance the competition and it was clear from watching the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil that Vanishing Spray benefitted referees, players, and all of those who watched the matches.
“Having witnessed that, and following consultation with our clubs and the PGMOL, we have decided to introduce it in the Barclays Premier League and look forward to having it in place for the 2014/15 season.”
PGMOL General Manager, Mike Riley, said: “As an assessor at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil I saw first-hand the benefits of Vanishing Spray for referees, and for the game as a whole.
“The Select Group referees are looking forward to using it during Barclays Premier League matches next season.”
The Premier League will use Vanishing Spray produced by 915 Fair Play Limit (www.915fairplay.com), which is the same supplier that worked with FIFA for the World Cup in Brazil.
Messi’s mantra is imprinted on the upper of his new cleat and “mas que un botin” (more than a boot) is featured on the cleat insoles.
Messi’s signature adizero F50 combines revolutionary technology with the precision engineering of the four-time Ballon d’Or winner. At only 5.3 ounces the adizero F50 Messi is one of the lightest cleats in the game.
The Barcelona star will wear the boot in La Liga this season while he will debut an alternative colorway for UEFA Champions League matches.
This week on Weezy Wednesday, Wayne had an interesting video. Euro, Santi, Wayne and Cristiano Ronaldo all hung out! After they talk about what they’ve been up to recently, Weezy and Ronaldo introduce Euro’s new seven track leak called “July”. I’m kind of confused. But not really.
We heard earlier this week the rumours that Wayne was launching a sports agency and would have CR7 as his first client. Cristiano was in Japan at the time and shouted out Wayne, Euro and Santi on twitter. Now, he stopped by LA on the way to Dallas before the Guinness game.
Interesting mix there. At first it seemed like Cristiano was out of place and just happened to be hanging out with some high ass rappers. But the more I watched the video he seemed super comfortable and then threw up the Young Money blast at the end of the video.
I don’t know exactly what to make of this, but it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
Sporting Kansas City striker Dom Dwyer is one of the League’s top goal scorers — and one of its most lively personalities. After beginning his career in the Norwich City youth system, Dwyer came to the United States for college and Sporting KC drafted him in 2012. Before earning a permanent role with the first team, Dwyer learned during a USL Pro loan spell with Orlando City that he played his best when being himself – gregarious and fun.
You know when people talk about customized footwear? Usually it has to do with some special color way, or some trim, or some embellishment. But it usually does not mean turning a pair of soccer cleats into a full on robot. Like some serious transformer type shit. Well that is exactly what is in the photo above. A Nike Hypervenom turf, goes from a soccer shoe to a robot thanks to the vision of TRANSSHOEFORMERS.
Just for a little reference, here is what this robot looked like in its previous life.
So here is the story. My boy Curtis stopped by the office this week. Curtis is a soccer head who has a deep background in the sneaker world. Ever heard of the Dunkxchange? That’s my dude right there. Anyway, Curtis has been telling me about his guy that turns soccer cleats into robots. I love soccer boots and I love robots. So I’m all in on this. He sent me some pictures of the robot which looked rad. But I have been waiting to see this robot in real life. So he drops by the office so we can rap about some projects we are working in, and then he drops this dude on the desk. BOOM!
One of the greatest soccer related items I have ever seen. So much steeze in one former soccer shoe. One of the things I really like about this , besides everything, is you can do this with used boots. Recycle your shit. Don’t just throw it away. Send it to the TRANSSHOEFORMER and let the dude make a robot out of your boots that you were done with it anyway. Extend the life of your boots, bro. Have a few made. Get your own army of soccer cleat robots. Whatever you do, I’m pretty sure you need at least one of these guys in your life.
