PSG Celebrates their French Ligue 1 Championship 2013 aka its a party at Parc des Princes!

psg championship celebration

If the party that was David Beckham’s last game wasnt enough toward the end of PSG’s 3 – 1 victory over Brest, it turns out that the victory sealed the sides historic third Ligue 1 title. While the players were in the changing room surely celebrating themselves a stage was set up, fireworks were thrown, and a party started in front of their 45,000 fans. On the scale of celebrations from 1 to 10, this was definitely a 10.

* Random side note * I like the fact that everyone gets a miniature version of the trophy. Thats pretty fresh…

Watch David Beckham leave the pitch and get thrown up by teammates in his last game for PSG

Filed under: Cool Ish, Culture & Lifestyle, PSG

becks last game

Awesome moment here from the PSG teammates as David Beckham has told everyone that this PSG finale will be his final game playing the sport professionally and he plans to retire. Love him or hate him, there is no denying his contribution to the game, and seeing someone go out on his own terms after an absolutely ridiculous career spanning a whole lot of countries and whole lot of games and a whole lot of trophies, is awesome. Shouts out to David Freaking Beckham.

* PSG won 3 – 1
