There is a lot of talk going around Europe right now about something called the 6+5 rule. Basically it would require that teams in Europe field at least 6 domestic players in their starting line up.  The English FA has basically co-signed on this, and many top managers are jumping on board as well. Although the European Union does not like this idea saying that it is illegal based upon the grounds of discrimination.
