United States International Oguchi Onyewu gets his first appearance with the Rossoneri

 Yesterday, I had an unbelievable day. I went to go represent The Original Winger at a presentation by a company called Nutrilite. Nutrilite is a company that sells vitamins, minerals, protein shakes, energy bars, and sports drinks that help you to achieve “optimal health.” The day started with driving out to Long Beach to meet several other bloggers from around the country at the Hotel Maya. Then, we all got on a bus that was headed to the Nutrilite Center for Optimal Health. When we got there, Nutrilite put on this huge presentation about what they believed in. They believe in organic farming and having all of their supplements being plant-based instead of being man made. They want everyone to have a life “the way nature intended it to be.” Personally, I learned a lot about taking care of my body and how important it is to eat and drink the right things at the right times to improve my performance on the pitch. Huge, huge day for Oguchi Onyewu and the development of US Soccer as a whole after AC Milan officially confirms the signature of the 27 year old following a free transfer on a three year Serie A deal.

Congrats Gooch…. The last American International to play in Serie A was Alexi Lalas with Padova and he’s loving this move.

With Paolo Maldini ending his AC Milan career after 23 years of loyal service and Carlo Ancelotti leaving for the cloudy days at Stamford Bridge, it was time for new boss Leonardo to pick his captain, surprisingly coming in the form of 32 year old midfielder Massimo Ambrosini.

AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini has come out publicly over the sale of Brazilian International Kaka to Real Madrid, letting fans know the club now has no chance of being at the 2010 Champions League final next year at the Santiago Bernabeu.
