I had posted a little something on these adidas boots awhile back. I couldn’t find much information other than the fact that they were a limited release and that they are blazing hot! After putting them up the first time, I got an email from our boy Greg over at The Glove Bag letting me know that he had one pair in stock and that he would ship them out for me. When I saw today’s package on the doorstep with his name on it I knew I was in for a treat. These boots are definitely much simpler than the boots of today, but there is something so perfect about the design, the clean lines, and the attention to the craftsmanship.
A few months back we held a contest with adidas for one of you to not only win a pair of adiPures, but to be able to customize the boots however they wanted. With an overwhelming amount of support in the comments section, Limo won the boots and the right to put his own touch on the boots. Limo checked in with us today to give us an update on the boots and send in some pictures as well. Hit the jump to see Limo in action in his customized adiPures.
Just got the heads up from our folks over at World Soccer Shop that these Chelsea inspired adidas x Kevin Garnett kicks are available in super limited quantity over at Chelsea Megastore USA. If you want to scoop a pair, then don’t sleep on these as they won’t last long.
This Chelsea version of adidas’ TS Commander Lite basketball shoe was inspired by NBA all-star Kevin Garnett, who is a soccer fan and Chelsea lover. This limited edition suede shoe is bold Chelsea royal blue and yellow with a Chelsea Lion design on the tongue and a soccer ball pattern etched into sections of the midsole.
