Many moons ago the Dassler brothers got in a messy fight, split up and as a result we now have the behemoth brands of adidas and PUMA. The brothers have both since passed on and different owners have owned both brands since the brothers ran their businesses. And now, with Peace Day happening on September 21st, employees from both companies will be shaking hands, playing in a soccer game, and watching the movie “The Day After Peace.”

“These events. according to a joint statement from both companies, will be the first joint activities of  both companies  since their  founders Rudolf and Adi Dassler left their shared firm and established  adidas and PUMA.”

Peep the latest version of the Adipure II’s as Adidas dropped the all black version which can be found over at Football Shirt Culture.

I’m not really sure what dude is talking about, but given the fact that he is wearing what he is and that he’s walking around in some compression shorts, I’m going to assume that this has to do with some sort of adidas technology. Otherwise, I have no idea where they were going with this one…

I’ve seen a few different versions of original soccer sneaker silhouettes used as the basis for bike inspired kicks. Here is another example as adidas uses the classic Samba silhouette for their new “fixie” release.

We got these new adiPure 2’s sent to us from the good dudes over at SoccerPro.  We are fans of the adiPURE’s around here, and I’m feeling volume II of these boots.
