Carlos Tevez has said he is considering retirement after the World Cup if Argentina pick up the trophy, because he is disappointed at losing his first choice place for his country and exhausted by the amount of football he is playing. Tevez is only 25, usually a peak age in a footballer’s career but, ahead of Argentina’s friendly with Spain on Saturday, said retirement had crossed his mind.

Sitting here watching Man U/Liverpool and thought I’d remind everybody there are two other great derbys to catch today.  One is the Mexican clasico between Chivas and America and the other is the Super Clasico in Argentina between Boca and River.  River/Boca is on at 12:15 PST and Chivas/America is at 3:30 PST. GREAT DAY!!

By the way Torres just showed why he leads the EPL in goals and why he might be the best forward in the world. Timing, balance, strength, and a quality finish!
