In the first leg of the home/away for a spot in the Argentine first division, Atletico Rafaela (3rd place in the second division) beat Gimnasia (3rd from bottom in the first division) 3-0. This meant on Sunday Gimnasia had to win by 3 to tie and maintain their spot. Don’t miss the insanity!! FYI….Gimnasia was down to 9 men while Rafaela had 10.

In a little more than an hour Kily Gonzalez and Rosario Central play the first game of a home/away series against Belgrano de Cordoba to try and maintain their first division status.  Belgrano has to beat Central on aggregate to earn their spot in the first division, with a tie over both games Central stays up.  Needless to say….HUGE GAME!
