Emmanuel Adebayor ran the length of the pitch to taunt the away support after scoring City’s third goal and had earlier appeared to kick his old team-mate Robin van Persie in the face.

You’ve got a two footed challenge that looks like there’s something in there followed with a reaction, subsequent “stomp” and a player with a facial wound…. Probably haven’t heard the last of this.
