Doug Hamilton was an unbelievable person who is very much worthy of this honor as well as Cien and Cobi, two men who led the Galaxy and exemplified all that it means to be a professional.

After dropping a mind numbing 42 goals and leading Manchester United to the Premiership and Champions League titles  over the course of the 2007 / 08 season, 23 year old Cristiano Ronaldo was today recognized as the world’s best player by his fellow professionals.
