Bayern Munich and Jurgen Klinsmann have parted ways following Saturday’s 1 - 0 loss to Shalke at home.  With rumors surrounding the move since Munich’s 5 - 1 aggregate loss to Barcelona in the Champions League and less than optimal results recently in the Bundesliga, the men in charge have brought in Jupp Heynckes to manage the last five matches of the season.

Wolfsburg Dismantles Munich - Highlights

It was a rough day for Jurgen Klinsmann’s Munich as Vfl Wolfsburg was clinical in front of the net, finishing 4 times within 14 minutes during the second half and pushing their nearly flawless home record to 13 wins and a draw.

While most of America was focusing on why Landon Donovan didn’t stay at Bayern Munich after his two and a half months on loan, many look past what he realistically took away from the experience.  Mainly the little things that can’t necessarily be taught, but learned in repetition in the company of Internationals like France’s Franck Ribery, Germany’s Miroslav Klose and Italy’s Luca Toni.

Bayern Chairman: Donovan’s Loan Unlikely to be Extended
