We all know they do things big in Dubai. Big hotels, big man made islands, very big wallets, and coming next year, the biggest water fountain in the world. This fountain will clock in at 825 feet long, 25% bigger than the fountains at The Bellagio in Las Vegas.  On top of this, a network of 6,600 lights and 50 projectors will light up the continuosly growing Dubai skyline. On Showtime this month is a documentary called “Cocaine Cowboys”, about the city of Miami in the early to mid 80’s and the rise and fall of the drug culture along with the villains and heroes who inspired movies and shows like “Scarface” and “Miami Vice”.  Scary but truly fascinating; this is the real story.  Highly recommend.

It seems that we have shown a lot of foosball tables on here, and each one seems to be more expensive and over the top than the last. Well here comes the fooball table to squash all the rest (at least for now). There is no information availbale for the specs and the pricing, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say this is going to be ridiculously expensive. I’m sure most of you are painfully aware of Facebook, and my guess is that many of you (including myself) use it daily. You also might be aware that founder Mark Zuckerberg started Facebook while he was in college at Harvard (like his boy Bill gates) and that he ended up leaving early (again like Gates) to focus on the social networking site. Facebook has been killing it, and it is without doubt one of the darlings of Silicon Valley right now.

As if things aren’t already good enough for young MZ (that’s what I call him), Forbes is now reporting that MZ is the youngest “self made” billionaire on the planet. That is not a bad title to have. Young and rich goes to a whole new level with this one. I’m sure Facebook still has some legs left in it, but it might be time for MZ to bow out soon. Take your bread, maintain some of your youth, and spend some time enjoying your dough before you make your next move.
