Sitting here watching Man U/Liverpool and thought I’d remind everybody there are two other great derbys to catch today.  One is the Mexican clasico between Chivas and America and the other is the Super Clasico in Argentina between Boca and River.  River/Boca is on at 12:15 PST and Chivas/America is at 3:30 PST. GREAT DAY!!

By the way Torres just showed why he leads the EPL in goals and why he might be the best forward in the world. Timing, balance, strength, and a quality finish!

Palermo… And that second?

Argentina National Team head coach and Boca Junior legend Diego Maradon has felt enough of the Juan Roman Riquelme backlash from Boca supporters during the weekends 3 - 0 win over Argentino Juniors, including posters that described him as a traitor, that he felt it warranted a public response on Argentine radio.

Palermo, nicknamed “El Loco”, who for several years played alongside Barros Schelotto in Boca’s intimidating attack, has said he would like to join Guille in Columbus, and apparently there has been contact between both clubs.
