I had posted a little something on these adidas boots awhile back. I couldn’t find much information other than the fact that they were a limited release and that they are blazing hot! After putting them up the first time, I got an email from our boy Greg over at The Glove Bag letting me know that he had one pair in stock and that he would ship them out for me. When I saw today’s package on the doorstep with his name on it I knew I was in for a treat. These boots are definitely much simpler than the boots of today, but there is something so perfect about the design, the clean lines, and the attention to the craftsmanship.

A few months back we held a contest with adidas for one of you to not only win a pair of adiPures, but to be able to customize the boots however they wanted. With an overwhelming amount of support in the comments section, Limo won the boots and the right to put his own touch on the boots. We showed you some advance images of the new adidas Predator X, and now here comes some more videos. Technology plays a huge role in the development and creation of new boots these days, and here is a sneak peak into some of that. It’s brief, but use these videos to try and imagine the R&D that goes into developing new soccer boots. Pretty wild.

adidas is getting set to drop the Predator X next week, and we got some advanced imagery and videos to share. Pretty rad that Zidane and adidas worked together to develop the Predator X.

Considering Zidane’s long relationship with Predator, there wasn’t another player more qualified in developing the new Predator X. His expert knowledge and attention to detail throughout the development process has lead to the most powerful boot ever made.

Nike has just unveiled a new boot and program that is a pretty interesting way to combine a product, a service and a training aid. Sounds kinda crazy right? Check this out…

A unique user-code that comes with every pair of the boots allows access to exclusive training content from some of the biggest names in the game, including Cesc Fabregas of Arsenal and Andrés Iniesta of FC Barcelona.

The integration of technology with a soccer boot is pretty interesting and unique. First was the integration of running sneakers and iPods to help people manage their training, and now comes this.
