Greg Lalas Demo’s New Under Armour Boots

Paulie Walnuts showed you the other day two separate pairs of the new Under Armour boots while in London with Bobby Zamora, but I trust Greg’s judgment on these all white boots and agree that they do look comfortable.

Interesting choice of price points to come in at though…

Nike Flywire Boots

I remember when the Reebok Pumps came out and thinking that somehow pumping them up was going to help people jump higher. That clearly wasn’t the case. Now though, with these new Nike Flywire boots, it sounds as if footwear technology has developed to where it can realistically help you run faster. Interesting that some of the inspiration for this came from suspension bridges. I find the blending of technology, function and design interesting and I’m curious to see how technology continues to affect not only the performance of athletes, but how athletic gear is designed.
