Premiership star Cesc Fabregas found himself embarrassed when he couldn’t pay for dinner because his credit cards were rejected - twice.

The Arsenal midfielder, who earns around £80,000 a week, was dining with two women (…freaking nice btw) at top Soho private club Studio Valbonne when his bill of just under £300 arrived.

An onlooker said: “He tried one card, it failed. Then another. It failed again. After much faffing he sent an aide out to get cash.”

Hopefully now with the 2008 Euro’s and vacation time over, Fabregas can get back to work on his show.
