Chelsea 4 - 0 Atlético Madrid, Champions League Highlights

Chelsea put themselves on the brink of qualification for the knockout stages of the Champions League with a comfortable victory over Atletico Madrid. A goal in each half from Ivory Coast international Salomon Kalou, a fine drive from Frank Lampard and an own goal from Luis Perea kept undefeated Chelsea on top of Group D.

They now have nine points from three games and have yet to concede a goal in Europe this season. (more…)

Antonio Valencia struck a late winner as Manchester United maintained their 100% record in Champions League Group B at the expense of CSKA Moscow. Liverpool v Lyon - Champions League Highlights

Wow! Four losses in a row for Liverpool and Steven Gerrard limps off after 24 minutes. Things are not looking good for the Reds right now. You have to start asking how patient they stay with Rafa.

Liverpool will have Steven Gerrard back in their ranks for Tuesday night’s Champions League showdown with Lyon after he trained on Monday morning, but Fernando Torres misses out again. The Reds’ skipper, along with striker Torres, was forced to sit out Saturday’s defeat at Sunderland with a groin injury but has returned to the squad to face the French outfit. (more…)
