With all the drama surrounding their marital situation, Chelsea left back Ashley Cole is facing the dilemma of being axed for the Carling Cup Final tomorrow against Tottenham Hotspur. With his Girls Aloud wife Cheryl Cole heading to Thailand, Los Angeles, London (for the Brit Awards) and back to Los Angeles only 48 hours later after the cheating allegations hit the airwaves, you have to put some belief into the theory that Avram Grant won’t risk him in the Final with his fragile emotional state.

After news broke in the papers that Chelsea/England star Ashley Cole was allegedly caught cheating with not one, not two, but three girls, Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole bounced. After spending 10 days in Thailand with the girls in her band, they headed to Los Angeles for a little R&R and more play time. BUT, for the second day in a row Cheryl was photographed out in L.A. without her wedding ring on. Power play or just a little hint of what’s to come from this WAG?

Accusations of infidelity are something that all the major athletes have faced at one point or another.  But when you’re the starting left back for England and Chelsea AND married to a pop star, you’re life becomes an open book.  It’s happened to another famous player back in 2004 and now it’s Ashley Cole’s turn to go through the washer.  This one’s gonna turn really ugly and imagine the abuse he’s gonna get on the road.
