BFT 2012 Summer Feature

I’m gonna be honest, I don’t quite know what is going on here as far as everything being written in Chinese…. but the bikes are dope… and they are drinking beers and kicking around a futbol on the beach, looks like a good time. Is the BFT a boy band tho?

I’ve been checking out the activity on the BFT fb, and they definitely caught me slippin’ and for that I apologize. Taipei is not in mainland China, it is in Taiwan – Taiwan is officially the Republic of China. My bad guys. I been getting my wikipedia on and I see that I had it all mixed up.

This time our global search takes us to China where former Chinese international, Sun Jihai sends the first player through to the national finals. Our scouts are searching the globe for 100 talented young footballers to take part in The Chance global finals in Barcelona.

*Jihai Sun is a Chinese association football player currently playing for Chinese side Inter Xi’an and for the China national football team as a defender or a midfielder. He played previously for: 1995–2002 Dalian Shide 123app scoring (7x); 1998–1999 to Crystal Palace (on loan), 23 (0); 2002–2008 Manchester City, 130 (3); 2008–2010 Sheffield United, 12 (0); 2009 Chengdu Blades (on loan), 10 (0); 2010 -> current Shaanxi Chanba 47 (0).

The Chinese sustainable building company, Broad Group, has yet attempted another impossible feat, building a 30-story tall hotel prototype in 360 hours, after building a 15-story building in a week earlier in 2011.

*Hmmm, dunno how safe I would feel about being in a 30 floor building built in about two weeks.

“Arsenal Football Club is delighted to announce that the first-team squad will be traveling to China in July to play Manchester City in the famous Beijing National Stadium.

The Gunners will be traveling to China for the second consecutive year, following their successful summer Asia tour in July 2011, in which the Club played matches in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Hangzhou, China.”

When I first saw this clip earlier today, I actually was doing something else and only saw the deflection, lob and then the ball hitting the back of the net. Then I was like, well, if that was a goal why the hell is this guy not running around as fast as he can trying to rip his shirt off and do some silly dance into the camera? Then I watched it again and obviously it was an own goal…damn! that was still incredible though… check out the lob on that thing!

Ip Man 2 is a 2010 semi-biographical martial arts film loosely based on the life of Ip Man, a grandmaster of Wing Chun martial arts. A sequel to the 2008 film Ip Man, the film was directed by Wilson Yip, and stars Donnie Yen, who reprises the leading role.

Continuing after the events of the earlier film, the sequel centers on Ip’s movements in Hong Kong, which is under British colonial rule. He attempts to propagate his discipline of Wing Chun, but faces rivalry from other practitioners, including the local master of Hung Ga martial arts.
