From the WTF files - Christian “Chippen” Wilhelmsson has signed a two year deal worth 3.6 Million Euros with Saudi Arabian defending Champions Al Hilal.

The 28 year olds club experience has been crazy, starting with Mjalby and moving to Stabaek, Anderlecht, Nantes, loans to Roma, Bolton and Deportivo La Coruna, Chippen’s been all over the place.

BUT, he’s a damn good winger and a player that should be playing at a much higher level than Al Hilal, no disrespect.

I’m just wondering how his Russian-born Swedish Model Girlfriend, Oksana Andersson is going to sun herself anymore.

Sweden’s other winger (not Freddie Ljunberg) Christian Wilhelmsson has been ruled out of the 2008 Euros after tearing his hamstring in the dying moments of the 2-nil win over 2004 Euro Champions Greece.

Chippen, who plays for Deportivo La Coruna in Spain and has over 50 caps for the Swedes, will have a three to four week recovery period for the injury meaning there is no way to get back before the tournament ends.

This is a huge loss for Sweden, but hopefully Lars Lagerback can figure out a way to employ a three forward system that sees Ibrahimovic up top alone, with Larsson and Rosenberg underneath.
