American Billionaire and Major League Soccer - Colorado Rapids (amongst many other sports teams) owner Stan Kroenke has once again upped his stake in Premiership side Arsenal to 28.7% and is now just 1.2% short of having to make the obligatory takeover bid.

According to the AP, Gary Smith has been named head coach of the Colorado Rapids. Smith took over from Fernando Clavijo in August and was given the interim title. Looks like that title has been removed with Smith being officially announced as the Rapids head coach.
