Our man Sam Fahmi (via Steve Sirk) headed over to the Easton Town Center yesterday to capture the setting of reigning MLS Champions Columbus Crew getting their playoff rally on ahead of the first round, 2nd leg Eastern Conference playoff match against Real Salt Lake at Crew Stadium on Thursday.

Columbus becomes the first MLS team into the knockout stage with the point on the road.
Eddie Gaven scores in the 5th minute to lead Columbus Crew to victory in San Juan de Tibas, Costa Rica. The Crew is in 2nd place in Group A.

Our boy Francisco sent us some behind the scene images of the Columbus Crew’s trip to Mexico City for their Group C match against Cruz Azul.
“Our trip to Mexico was unlike any other trip. It wasn’t just physically exhausting but mentally as well; from when you step out of the plane until you take off, Mexico City, its climate and culture make it as hostile as anyone can imagine. However, Cruz Azul staff were unbelievably helpful and nice towards us. So big shout out to them.”
