That’s why it sucks to be a keeper during corner kicks if you miss. And Diego Souza, are you kidding me?
Giving up that goal killed Pachuca.
River Plate just couldn’t get the engine running as Universidad de San Martin beat Los Millonarios 2-0 in their Copa Libertadores debut in Peru. While River’s next match is home against America on February 27th, San Martin faces Chile’s Universidad Catolica a day earlier in Lima again.
The African Cup of Nations just ended, but the next major tournament is about to get under way. The best clubs that South America has to offer are getting set to kick off the 2008 Copa Libertadores, and this should be a scorcher. I dig watching this tournament. talk about passion, South American fans have that in bundles, and the skill on display is sick. last years winner Boca Juniors looks strong once again, with the maestro Riquelme running things for them. Keep an eye on Cruzeiro, they have been on fire lately, and should definitely be challenging this year. River Plate is looking strong, and as always, I’m sure there is some less known team that is going to jump up and bite someone in the arse and knock them out. Sit back, pour yourself a Quilmes and enjoy the tourney.
